Summer School on Business and Human Rights Practice

The 2024 International Summer School on Business and Human Rights Practice at the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg was a great success, featuring engaging sessions and vibrant discussions among diverse international participants. Guided by experts including Markus Krajewski, Daniel Augenstein and Miriam Saage-Maaß, the program covered key topics such as corporate accountability, strategic litigation, and value chain due diligence through a mix of lectures, interactive case work, and discussions. Enriching side events like the Nuremberg Human Rights Walk and a film screening fostered both educational value and community building.

Participants from varied backgrounds, including human rights lawyers, sustainability consultants, and PhD and Master students, contributed unique insights, creating a dynamic learning environment.
